Abi Ann (born Abigail Dawn Ann Hoffman in Midland, Texas on June 26, 1997) is an accomplished singer, songwriter and touring artist at the young age of 17. Abi Ann has recently toured with Jesse McCartney on his Live Nation InTechnicolor tour as well as IM5 on the It’s Getting Weird tour. Awards are no scarce item for Abi Ann as she has been earning titles from the Independent Music Network and the Indie Music Channel for the past three years. She currently holds the title of Favorite Country Artist and the coveted Artist of the Year for 2014 across all genres through the Indie Music Channel. She has also been awarded Country Songwriter of the Year and Teen Songwriter of the Year for 2014 as well through IMC. Abi Ann has had 7 placements of songs in film/tv in the past several years including several in Hello Herman, an Anti-bully themed movie. Her platform for bringing awareness to the issue of bullying stems from personal experience. Abi Ann has written songs as well as headlined Anti-Bully rallies and toured the East Coast on the JNFE No Bully Tour in 2011. Her passion for Charity work is strong in the areas of Cystic Fibrosis and Cancer awareness having friends and family affected by both. A strong work ethic instilled in Abi Ann early on in her life, she successfully balances a rigorous honors school schedule as well as her touring, songwriting and appearances while applying to strong academic higher education universities. She is an avid scuba diver, surfer, swimmer, race car driver, spinner, marks woman and has traveled to well over 40 countries in her 17 years. With her new EP “17” being released the first quarter of 2015 be looking for her fresh new country rocking sound to hit the radio. Her passion in music is deep in her commitment to bringing out strong lyrical content for her listeners. Her success comes in her listeners being able to relate to the stories she is relaying. “Music is therapeutic for me. Writing a song allows me to put closure to an event in my life and I want that for my listeners as well. If they can relate to my stories then I have completed my highest goal.”
