Award winning young composer, pianist and songwriter, Adriano Aponte, has been touted as leaving “a lasting impact on the music communities of LA and Hollywood” according to the Executive Producer of the Los Angeles Music Awards, Al Bowman.
The neopolitan musician, who has shared the stage with the “Pianist to the President”, David Osbourne, has made a name for himself both as a solo performer and as a soundtrack composer.

Aponte’s winning streak began when his album, ‘Inside’ won the “Acoustic Album of the Year” at the ‘Los Angeles Music Awards 2009′, at Avalon Theater in Hollywood, California.

The impact of Aponte’s talent was felt at the ‘Los Angeles Music Awards’ the following year when he won the award for the “Instrumental Artist of the Year” and got the nomination for the”International Artist of the Year”. The event was held at Paramount Theater in Hollywood, California, where Adriano also performed a solo piano concert. He is now the only Italian to have won awards at the event two years in a row.

In August 2011, Aponte received the accolade of being the ‘Best Italian Film Composer’ at the “Italian Movie Award”. It is in the film industry that he would like to further develop his career.

He got the nomination as “Best Soundtrack” at the “The 48hour Film Project 2012″.
The composer came back to Los Angeles in 2011 performing a ‘piano recital’ called ‘Muvic’ at the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles to celebrate the 150° Anniversary of the Unification of Italy, the 60° Anniversary of volunteer service for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra Association, and to welcome the Hon. Consul General of Italy Giuseppe Perrone as well as all Consular Corps. members in Los Angeles. He came back to California again on February 2012 to perform as ‘Guest of honor’ at the “Film4Life” U.S. edition event held at ‘Villa Francesca’ in Malibu on February 15th. The event was held to celebrate the most talented and young italian people in the movie industry.

The composer studied Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music in Boston, now he is competing his Master’s Degree (Scoring for Film, TV and Video Games program) at Berklee College of Music in Valencia (Spain), where he’s also working as Graduate Lab. Assistent.
