As musical artists, each one of us has a divine obligation to utilize our God given talents to somehow help further the greater good of all mankind. Many artists fail to see this and are often times led down a road of self-destruction, expressing hatred and anger with their music.
MARINO SOUNDWAVES has discovered life’s true path to musical immortality. Some critics have tried to tell me that this concept that Marino developed is just a marketing ploy to help stimulate his album sales. That might make sense to those who don’t know Marino and his lovely wife Janet, who both work tirelessly promoting this wonderful music that, according to top health industry professionals, really does have amazing healing powers.
In just it’s second year of existence The Angels On Earth foundation has received endorsements from some of the most prominent figures on the entire planet. Donald Trump, Michael Jackson, Muhammed Ali and Carlos Santana are just a few of the many celebrities that support the efforts of this one-of-a-kind artist and performer. The event held on September 21st was perfect. The food, wine and champagne were all first class, as was the entire evenings presentations and silent auction. Marino was somehow able to get some incredible stuff donated by celebrities for bids by the attendees. And some people try to tell me that this guy doesn’t have connections to the Supreme God of the Universe!
The event has already outgrown this facility. Next year, with an ever expanding list of celebrity endorsers, this event should be held at a much larger venue.
The sole vision of Angels On Earth is to provide angelic healing music worldwide FREE OF CHARGE to hospitals, surgeons, therapist, specialists, doctors, and of course, the sick and the dying patients. The foundation truly believes that a life lived for others is a life worthwhile. The foundation’s credo lies in the phrase, “Kindness is the Highest Form of Wisdom.” There are many who believe that music is well said to often be the speech of Angels. It has the power to help heal, comfort and transform the human psyche from negative to positive.
If all musicians worked the way that Marino does the world might be a much better place. Marino is nominated for Best Guitarist at the 7th Annual L.A. Music Awards.

In an e-mail to The Blues Blog received this morning, blues brother Marino De Silva, president & creator of Blues Idol, informed me that American Idol has taken out an injunction against Blues Idol to stop Blues Idol in its quest to find the next generation of Blues greats.
In what he termed “a classic David vs Goliath situation,” De Silva vowed to take it “all the way to the Supreme Court, if necessary.”

Blues Idol is a brand-new TV concept developed by long-time music industry professionals Larry Cohn, former president of Epic Records, and Marino De Silva, founder of the nonprofit Angels On Earth Music for Healing Foundation.

Blues Idol creator Marino De Silva has plainly stated publicly “Blues Idol poses no threat to American Idol.

International award-winning guitar virtuoso and impresario, Marino, Founder and President of Angels On Earth Foundation, is a man who believes in Angels and the healing power of music. Through his Foundation, Marino fuses the metaphysical with the physical and makes healing music a reality for everyone.
Marino was honored as “Humanitarian of the Year” at the Los Angeles Music Awards in November 2001 and received the “Paws of Fame” award the same year from the Wildlife Waystation in recognition of his “support and commitment to animals worldwide.”
In 2002, Carvin Guitars presented Marino with an award to honor his “Guitars For Freedom” album.

Marino brought the entire guitar community together for this multi-award winning album which was widely recognized as the most creative compilation CD released to benefit the 9-11 charities.
Talkin’ To Angels, produced by Marino, received the Los Angeles Music Award for “Spiritual Album of the Year” in 2003. The album features some of the greatest names in the history of classic rock.
