2014 Recipient – International Artist Band – 24th Annual LA Music Award Salerno, Italy

Antonio Rock, 20, pianist composer. He currently studies piano and composition at the Conservatory of Benevento. Keep in numerous solo concerts in Naples, Milan, Arezzo, Los Angeles and Tokyo where soon run its compisizioni and pieces of the classical repertoire.

In July 2014 he was chosen as one of 30 pianists participating in the Festival of Piano Pratovecchio (AR). He has played concerts for 4 consecutive days and comes into contact with artists like Stefano Bollani, Danilo Rea, the Banda Osiris, Gloria Campaner and others.
It was also chosen as one of three composers participating in the Social World Film Festival in 2014.
Grand prize winner of the POV Music Contest in Udine with his composition “A dream of you” was immediately noticed by the jury and critics, including the journalist Vincenzo Mollica, with producer Alberto Zeppieri, he has proposed to participate a compilation of jazz versions of songs by Lelio Luttazzi along with artists such as Mina, Lucio Dalla, Stefano Bollani, Danilo Rea and many others.
Antonio has arranged the song Back in Trieste for the compilation LELIO SWING which was issued as an annex to the monthly MusicaJazz of December 2014.

November 12 in Los Angeles was awarded International Composer & Arranger of the Year at the prestigious Los Angeles Music Awards, an international competition for independent music with the participation of artists from all over the world, including David Osborne, pianist of the White House. Antonio is also invited to attend the event 25 years in Cinema Paradiso at the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles performing in a performance accompanied by the concertmaster of the LA Opera Roberto Cani and before the same Giuseppe Tornatore, director of the film Cinema Paradiso.
