Named by Music Connection Magazine as one of the “Hot 100 Unsigned Artists of 2011/2012″, Brandon James is an accomplished vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter.

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Brandon James’ passion for music came to him in the form of late nights spinning his father’s folk rock vinyl collection including James Taylor, The Beatles and The Eagles. Brandon’s musical journey started in an all boys choir at the age of 7, and since then he has entertained audiences from Westminster Abbey to singing for Pope John Paul II at the Vatican, and on club stages from Toronto clear to Los Angeles.
In 2011, Brandon received 3 nominations for his solo debut record from the 21st Annual Los Angeles Music Awards for Country Artist Of The Year, Country Album Of The Year, and Country Single Of The Year for “Down In the Sand”.

Husband of six years to his wife, Shaila, and doting father to his two year old son, Ethan, Brandon is currently busy with his musical partner, Femke, in their Pop-Americana duo Cotton Wine, writing & recording their second record release in his new home of Nashville, TN. Brandon James is known as an artist who reaches his audience through his honest use of melody, harmony & story.
