It has been an amazing journey, for the Northern California, band of brothers, CHEATING DAYLIGHT! The prestigious LOS ANGELES MUSIC AWARDS, named the group their 2011 “POWER POP “BAND of the YEAR”. Rainbow Records selected CHEATING DAYLIGHT’S song, PHOTOGRAPHS DON’T LIE as a “BEST Top Ten SONG of 2011”. The 22nd annual LOS ANGELES MUSIC AWARDS named CHEATING DAYLIGHT their 2012 “ROCK ARTIST of the YEAR”.

The Indie Music Fest, in Las Vegas, named the rock quintet their 2012 INDIE ARTIST of the YEAR. Cheating Daylight performed live at the Malibu Music Awards at Pepperdine University’s Smothers Theatre, where they were presented with the 2013 “NEW ARTIST of the YEAR” award by celebrities Dick Van Dyke and Gretchen Bonaduce. The 2013 Los Angeles Music Awards nominated the band for ROCK ARTIST and ROCK ALBUM of the Year & named Cheating Daylight’s title track from the new album, “Road to Somewhere” their 2013 “Rock Single of the Year”. And…the ARTISTS in MUSIC AWARDS nominated Cheating Daylight for 3 award categories, and named Cheating Daylight 2014 ROCK ARTIST of the YEAR!

The rock quintet’s continuous touring has taken them from the East Coast to Nashville to the West Coast and they have performed at legendary venues, along the way, such as Slims in SF, Whisky A Go-Go in Hollywood, Celebrity Showroom at John Ascuaga’s Nugget in Reno, Belly Up Tavern in San Diego, Downtown Disney in Anaheim, The Cosmopolitan Rooftop in Las Vegas, Twelve Hotel Atlantic Station in Atlanta, and Revolution LIVE in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

The band headlined smaller theatres and sold them out, while appearing at fairs, and festivals across the country. The award winning, band of brothers also participated and performed at many industry events, including Sunset Sessions, Driven Florida, California Music Summit, Western Fair Association Convention, and more. They also joined many larger tours including the 2013 High School Nation Tour, The 2013 Epic Proportions Tour and the 2014 Vans Warped Tour, to name a few.

Cheating Daylight has also appeared on shows/bills with national artists such as Sammy Hagar, Carlos Santana, We Came As Romans, The Maine, Yellowcard, Less Than Jake, Richie Sambora, Billy Corgan, Everclear, Eddie Money, and many more.

THE PAST…

Jesse Crosson, Kyle Crosson, and Jaden Crosson, grew up in Vacaville, California, and began performing at an early age. Their love of music & family, led them to form a band…The Crosson Brothers! The Crosson Brothers toured throughout California in 2009 and 2010, taking time out to record their debut album, LIGHTS OUT. The record was co-produced in Los Angeles at R.A.G. Studios, by the award winning producer Robin DiMaggio, of “Lopez Tonight” and “Conan”fame.

Jacob Gill, and Connor Gill, grew up in Cobb, CA. In 2009, Jacob was playing in a band named String Theory, when The Lost Boys called and asked if he wanted to join them. He arrived in time to tour extensively with the award winning, teenage rock band, playing hundreds of dates throughout North America. In late 2010, his brother Connor was invited to perform with the band as well, and did so until the band’s breakup in early 2011. During that time The Lost Boys won numerous awards, including 2010 ROCK ARTIST of the YEAR at the Los Angeles Music Awards, 2011 National ROCK ARTIST of the YEAR at the Phoenix Music Awards, and 2010 Independent Artist of the Year, at the D.I.Y. Music Festival. The band also released their 3rd album, RUNNING RED LIGHTS, to great industry acclaim…produced by Multi-Platinum, Multi-Grammy Award winner, David Kershenbaum.
