Nominee at the 10th annual LA Music Awards

Latin pop rock band from California Cielo Ceniza was formed in 1997 by singer Cielo, guitarists Ki-Ke and Eric Fraser, and bassist Cory Fraser. The band released an EP in 1999, having the opportunity to perform its own music while playing along with Jaguares at San Francisco’s Fillmore in September that same year. Cielo Ceniza’s first album was called Experimento Cielo, released in April of 2000. By that time, the group was nominated by ASCAP for Best Independent Latin Rock Band. A new chance to perform live came while participating in an event called Las Noches Del Dragon, sponsored by a Latin music magazine.
