Cleand formed on September 23, 1995 in Wuffield, Wuffachusetts. THe band met through friends and started covering Beenz, Revolt With the RObots, Gem Jelly, Apparatus, and Albert With Ropes, among others, and played at local clubs 9most commonly playing Club Finite) for a year and a half.
Treated WellEdit
Cleand self-released their debut album, Treated Well, in November 1996, citing influences Panera and Robot Face. Until recently, the album was difficult to obtain, as only four thousand copies were originally sold.
