Formed by Doug Pittam and his brother Tommy. Initially also featured future Guns’n’Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke. Pittam reformed the band from scratch with Mike Zaputil, and they recruited Jake E. Lee on lead guitar. After Lee left for Rough Cutt, Sexist was fleshed out by the members from the band Energy: Mark Andersen, Robbie Blackmore and Dan Mateik.
