Her music has been compared to Florence and The Machine, Paramore, Kelly Clarkson and Bruno Mars.

Dree has been performing and writing music since 2010 and has written songs with artist Nicco (Sony Europe) for overseas placement (Robert M’s “2013”, landed demos on network tv shows “Parenthood” and “White Collar,” and films such as Wingman Inc. (2013)) She has graced the airwaves of KPFK and tons of internet radio stations like NetteRadio, Radiobuzzd, Rawdio, and more. Her music and voice caught the attention and nominations of several awards including the 2012 HMMA award, and the 2012 Indie Music Channel award.

In 2013, Dree had a successful retro soul pop single with a charismatic and quirky totally fan-funded music video for “Waiting (When I See You), directed by Donte Murray, which can be seen here on her youtube channel – http://youtu.be/zaUvz46zpuw.

317755_10150370755576287_1703462746_n-1Dree has recently just completed a self-release and digitally distributed debut EP, “A Louder Side of Me,” which she recorded at Plastic Dog Recording Los Angeles, Bedrock Studios, House of Rock Santa Monica and LocalPlay Studios. Her co-writing team for this project includes Jeff Zacharski, Ben Spivak (Magic!), and Andy Moresi. Production ranged from Music and Vocals with Jeff Zacharski to a ton more vocals, mixing and mastering with Colin Liebich and Nick Phillips in Los Angeles. The sound for this EP is pop-rock, starting with walls of guitars, vocally and guitar driven riffs and trills, with a twist of a haunting piano ballad and a surprise quirk of ukelele, brass and humor to finish it off. Each song is as unique as Dree and all show a different side of her personality and represent her to the fullest. She is the definition of an independent artist doing it all herself from concepts to writing to promotion to booking.
