When Sam and Rose Ash opened the first Sam Ash Music in Brooklyn, NY back in 1924, they never imagined what it would become. Sam Ash Music is now the largest family-owned musical instrument retailer in the U.S., and it remains family owned and operated as it always has been. Three generations of the Ash family are employed by our company, and each of us is intimately involved with the day-to-day operations of the business.

Our long time customers know that this was our tradition when we were one little store in Brooklyn, NY, and it continues even now that we are 45 Megastores in 16 states.
