Like so many artist before him, he started at a young age singing in the choir at the Pilgrim Baptist Church. Frank has spent his life singing to a variety of audiences, both while serving 33 years in the military (honorably discharged) and pursuing his own professional interests.

He has performed major venues, and his stage performances are among some of the best. He has aligned himself with some of the best musicians of today, which include:

Bruce Wangsanutr, Keyboards (Gladys Knight and The Pointer Sisters)

James Lum, Guitar, Grammy Winner (James Ingram and Stevie Wonder)

Ron Roseboro, Bass (Eric Darius)
