Petty Fever is a two time recipient of the “Tribute Band of The Year Award” for 2013 & 2014 at both the 23rd & 24th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards which were held at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood, CA. They deliver an exhilarating high energy show that is “Suitable for All Ages” and an excellent headline act for Fairs, Casinos, Theaters, Special Events, Corporate Events, Full Production Night Clubs and more across the globe.

Murray is a very well respected veteran Guitarist/Vocalist originally from Portland, Oregon and was recently nominated as “Live Performer of the Year” for the 2014 LA Music Awards. He has performed with a number of national recording artists, many world class touring sidemen and some of the top bands in the Pacific NW over the last few decades. His uncanny visual, musical and vocal similarities to Petty on and off stage have crowds constantly doing double and triple takes, wondering if it was actually Tom Petty.
Petty Fever was formed by Murray in February 2009 with a carefully selected roster of veteran musicians in order to successfully recreate the sound and essence of a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers concert. From that moment forward, Petty Fever has provided a stunning salute to Tom Petty, performing over three decades of classic Petty hits, such as American Girl, Free Falling, Breakdown, Running Down a Dream, I Won’t Back Down, You Wreck Me and many more!
