Nominated for Independent AAA Album of the Year – 16th Annual LA Music Awards “Waking”
Hailed as a “rising star of the indie music scene,” by Entertainment Tonight and “refreshingly unassuming” by Pitchfork Media , Hayley Taylor has found great success in the realm of movies and television with multiple placements in commercials, TV shows, and movie soundtracks. Songs from her debut album One Foot In Front Of The Other have been featured on popular TV shows including How I Met Your Mother, Pretty Little Liars, Rush, Royal Pains, and MTV’s Real World. Her single, Felt Like Love, was recently featured in a Vick’s campaign and a Chevrolet commercial.

Taylor just finished recording her second full-length album, due out this summer, which showcases the new direction her music
has evolved into- departing from her acoustic folk-rock roots, she enters the world of electro-synth pop. The album features songs produced by Grammy award winner Dan Romer (A Great Big World, Beasts of the Southern Wild), Jason Orme (Alanis Morrissette), Josh Grondin (The Hanks), John Morrical (Shakira), and drummer Anthony Burulcich (Morrissey, The Bravery, Weezer). Taylor is also currently in the studio with Burulcich working on their new collaboration, X My Heart, with plans to release their EP in the later part of 2015.

Taylor is based in Los Angeles, where she frequently performs with her band at the famed Hotel Cafe, and other prime LA venues. Her band features a talented cast of players including Adrienne Woods (Ariana Grande, John Legend) on cello, Drew Lawrence (Christina Perri) on keys, Amanda Tannen (Stellastarr) on bass, and Burulcich on drums.
