Hollywood Bono (Joseph Hier)
Lead Vocals / Guitar / Harmonica / Percussion :
Is a multi instrumentalist, and performed as a guitarist in various bands on the East Coast. Never initially intending to take the stage as a front man, he was invited to get up to sing a U2 song on stage with friends, the audience was floored with his look and sound being naturally so close to Bono. As a huge fan of U2’s music and admiration for Bono as a performer, Joe was at first reluctant to step into Bono’s Creepers. With friends persistently encouraging him to do so, as he was such a natural, Joe embraced the idea and founded Hollywood U2 in 2003.

In 2013 Hollywood Bono got the call from Ryan Seacrest & Mark Cuban’s TV show “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands” and was selected out of all other U2 tributes to perform live on the AXS TV Broadcast to millions of homes throughout America. Hollywood U2 was the only band of Season 1 to be asked to play an extended set for the show. After the show Joe received a text from Bono’s cousin congratulating him on his great performance saying “Cousin Bono would be proud!”.

Since then the band have also been nominated as “Tribute Band of the Year” by Los Angeles Music Awards. Recently they recorded 3 U2 Tracks with multi-platinum record producer Michael Vail Blum for “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands” Compilation Album Vol. 3.

Joe continues to tour the world with Hollywood U2 and astounds crowds with his live performance, unmatched look, sound and persona of Bono. Joe prides himself on bringing U2 fans the multiple iconic looks and personas of Bono, bringing fans all the U2 hits that span U2’s successful career, including the recently released U2 single “Invisible”. Joe fell in love with this latest U2 hit and within 2 weeks of the release had recorded “Invisible” with Hollywood U2 and performed it live for fans.

Though he never expected to fit into Bono’s Creepers he has since bought 20 pairs, a golden suit, several fly shades, aviator’s, Armani and Bulgari shades and numerous embellished leather jackets….

Hollywood Edge (Stevie Adams)
Guitar / Backing Vocals :
Is a Los Angeles-based Pop/Rock guitarist with a unique style and powerful sound.

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Stevie is a well-respected live performer and studio session player who has recorded and shared the stage with a wide variety of artists including; Mick Fleetwood, Steve Lukather, Michael Hossack (Doobie Brothers), Myron Dove (Santana), Lindsey Buckingham, Peter Bardens (Camel / Van Morrison / Rod Stewart), and countless others.

Stevie also composes music for Film, Television, Advertising, and Interactive Media. His work has been featured on Fox, ABC, NBC, the Los Angeles Emmy Award Shows, and the Ani-FX Animation Festival, amongst many others.

As a long-time lover of U2’s music – and a guitarist who has an insatiable appetite for experimentation with guitar tones and textures – Stevie has found Hollywood U2 to be the perfect place to apply his talents.

Hollywood Adam (Mikhail Davies)
Bass / Backing Vocals :
Mikhail is a musician, music producer, successful songwriter and engineer who graduated from Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) with a degree in Electric Bass performance. His compositions feature on many television and feature films, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, Emmy Award winning soap opera Guiding Light, The L Word, Brooklyn’s Finest, Veronica Mars and many more.

Mikhail has an eclectic mélange of musical styles and tastes. His most recent collaborations and projects include Latin Grammy winning group The Kumbia Kings; singer-rapper Paco, member of the multi-platinum Costa Rican group Ragga By Roots; Sami Cultura, Milana Leboyvich, lead singer Magic Juan of the multi platinum group Proyecto Uno; and David Rolas of Latino 96.3 in Los Angeles.

The multifaceted musician, songwriter and producer currently resides in Los Angeles where he operates his own recording studio and facility.

Since it’s inception in 2003, Mikhail has played bass as “Hollywood Adam” in Hollywood U2. A longtime fan of U2’s music, it has been a perfect artistic fit.

Adam’s bass style is characterized by strong rhythmic motifs and a hypnotic reggae feel, which is perfectly in line with the styles that have informed Mikhail’s personal approach to the instrument. In addition Adam’s disposition and physical appearance are also very similar to Mikhail’s making his portrayal of Adam even more convincing. Hollywood Larry (Roy Murray)
Drums / Percussion / Backing Vocals :
Roy was born in Dublin, Ireland, just 12 miles south of Larry Mullen Jr’s birthplace.

After his family immigrated to Southern California, his Irish heritage remained strong as he grew up watching his musician father perform Irish music all across the southland.

Like his older brother before him, Roy began playing the drums at a very young age and would often play along to his collection of U2 tapes. Once he was old enough, Roy joined his father’s Irish band and his professional music career began.

Over the years, he has performed and recorded with a number of bands ranging from Irish to Alternative Rock, and everything in between. His playing style is almost identical to Larry Mullen Jr’s, which makes him a perfect fit for Hollywood U2.

In 2012, he had the opportunity to play a few shows with the band, and officially joined Hollywood U2 in early 2013. Since then, Roy has amassed a collection of drums and cymbals that are identical to those used by Larry Mullen Jr while touring with U2.
