R&B singer/songwriter Jared Douglas was discovered by Lionel Richie in early 2000 and later added backing vocals on Richie’s sixth album Renaissance. Douglas’ harkening pop melodies led to the formation of Tantrum Entertainment, enabling him to release his debut album Paradise in fall 2000.
