Performer – 2007 Hollywood FAME Awards

Jessica Amaro is recipient of the Pop Album of the year for the Los Angeles Music Awards, and again, recipient of Pop Artist of the year at the Annual Los Angeles Music Awards (the largest award show for indi artists!). She has now been nominated once again for the 2014 Los Angeles Music Awards for Best Pop Artist of the year and best Pop Single of the year.

She has also received the Singer Songwriter award for the Hollywood FAME Awards and been in the top World Billboard. Jessica has performed in Hollywood at the world famous Whisky A-Go-Go in Hollywood (where many legendary musicians have performed) and at the famous Music Box Theater on Hollywood Blvd.
Jessica first began taking dance lessons, which initiated her passion for music at age 5. She then moved onto piano lessons at age 6 and eventually took voice at age 14; although she had been singing on her own since childhood. Having participated in all school plays and talent shows, Jessica’s passion for music expanded into the arts in general, where at the age of 14, she was taking numerous dramatic arts courses, which proved her to be a natural on stage.

Jessica studied with Ian Garratt (who taught Shania) along with other professional vocalists. She has also studied Hip Hop, Jazz and Latin dancing. Jessica taught piano and voice at the Ontario Conservatory of music and was a dance instructor.
Jessica released her first CD in 2000 and since has release various CDs in English, Portuguese and Spanish which have been playing in radio stations across the world including Canada, USA, Portugal, Cuba, France, Bermuda, Brazil, India and Australia, just to name a few. In California, Jessica Amaro has held a #1 spot on the Portuguese music charts with numerous songs for over a year.
She has collaborated with Grammy and Juno award winners and recently with producers which have worked on the recent works of Jay-Z, Beyonce, Madonna, Nelly Furtado etc. Having had such experiences has led her to also work hard behind the scenes, writing, producing and engineering for other artists as well as film, television and radio.
Jessica’s music has been featured on television and film. She has performed around the world including Europe, Cuba, Bermuda, Mexico, Dominican Republic, USA and Canada. Having performed for hundreds of thousands of people, her audience most recognizes her for her energetic presence on stage. Jessica is currently working with JAM Entertainment not only as an artist, but as an engineer, producer and director of entertainment, guiding young new talent and teaching them how to shine as a star.
