We presented Jill Knight a few years ago and it was simply one of the best shows we’ve had. Jill’s soulful sound is unmistakable. A native of Savannah Ga, her music delivers a southern texture blending americana, blues and weaving in a little R & B that will take the listener on an unforgettable journey. Nominated for the LA music awards “best female vocalist”, finalist at the Telluride Troubadour competition, a finalist at the National Academy of Songwriters “songwriter of the year” competition, finalist in Billboard magazines, “best unsigned band” contest, a regional best seller in Album Network magazine for her cd Future Perfect, best DIY albums in Performing Songwriter Magazine, Honorable mention NSAI songwriting competition, Finalist in the Acoustic Live songwriter competition. Jill has toured and shared stages with… India Arie, Shawn Colvin, David Wilcox, John Prine, The Tubes, The Doobie Brothers, Roger McGuinn, Laura Nero, Chris Isaak, Delbert Mclinton, Michael Hedges, Phoebe Snow, Richard Thompson, Little Feat, David Lindley, Los Lobos, Peter Rowan and many others. Performing Songwriter Magazine commented, “Its hard to say which is better-the song or the way Jill Knight sings it.” We know the answer… both. Learn more at www.jillknight.com and be here for a wonderful concert that you will talk about for days afterwards.

Rebecca Troon accompanying herself on guitar, banjo and percussion will open the evening. She won first place in songwriting at the Gig Harbor Folk Festival in Washington in 2007. Her song “Animal Skin” was a finalist in the 2011 International Acoustic Music Awards, Best Folk/Americana/Roots category.

She’s a member of the Honeysuckle Possums, a harmony-based old-time, originals & bluegrass band. Rebecca has two solo CD’s: Turning around, and Animal Skin. She has performed for us before both as part of the Possums and as a solo artist and is always a delight
