2010 Nominee – Rock Drummer of the Year – 20th Annual LA Music Awards “Evolution Eden”

Evolution Eden is preparing to unleash their latest release entitled “The Perfect Crime” due out November 13th, 2012. This marks the bands third release since their inception in 2005. This latest self-produced release shows their growth as song writers and musicians. They called upon legendary producer/engineer Andy Johns (Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen and Chickenfoot) to help them capture the live feel of an EE performance. This is a noticeable departure from the previously released and slickly produced “Saturday Night Drive-In”. If “Saturday Night Drive-In” is the Ferrari in the EE garage then “The Perfect Crime” is definitely their classic 65 Mustang. The single “Rules Were Made for Breaking” is an ode to the classic rock of the 70’s; big drums, loud guitars, walking bass lines, dueling lead vocalists and of course cowbell, aptly performed by Andy Johns.

Evolution Eden has managed to create a lethal cocktail of Hard Rock, Power Pop and Blues that when mixed together goes down smooth but will definitely give you the buzz you crave. There’s a familiarity to the band’s sound as they clearly draw upon the musical influences of artists like Def Leppard, Lit and Collective Soul while lyrically drawing from story tellers like Bryan Adams, Butch Walker and Bon Jovi. These influences when fused together can best describe Evolution Eden’s sound as “Novella-Arena Rock”.

The band consists of the tag team fronted duo of lead guitarist/vocalist Brandon Owen and rhythm guitarist/vocalist Mike “Pap” Pappas, bass guitarist/backing vocals Andy Hewett and drummer Jim Bove. Evolution Eden has played well over 100 headlining shows as well as supporting many major label touring acts.
