Jocelyn Celaya (Radical Classical) is a guitarist/vocalist who keeps the foundation of traditional classical techniques in her original compositions by combining heavy bass lines, speedy leads, and multi-dimensional melodies accompanied by strong vocals and lyrics within a Pop/Rock structure. With the release of three albums entitled Mosaic Jungle, String Theory, and Radical Classical, she has performed as a guest soloist for The Symphonic Symphony in Paris, France as well as headlining shows at locations ranging from conservatories and arts theaters, to conventional mainstream outlets and music festivals both nationally and internationally.

Radical Classical has been featured on Telemundo, CNN, WGN TV, the Speed Channel, PBS, and in various television shows, independent films, magazines and radio stations. She has also received awards and nominations from Producer’s Choice Award for Best Finger Style Guitarist of the Year at the LA Music Awards, Entrepreneur Award Recipient from actress Eva Longoria (the Eva Longoria Foundation), The Association of Finger-Style Guitarists made her the youngest guitarist to receive the award for a Lifetime Honoree Member/Performer, an Honorary Meastra Title (the most respectable title for a classical performer) was given to her by the Conservatory of Puebla, Mexico after her performance, and she has been placed on the Official Ballot for the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (the Grammy Awards) under the categories of “Best Pop Vocal Performance”, “Best Pop Instrumental Album of the Year”, Best New Artist”, “Best Pop Instrumental Performance”, and “Best Album of the Year”.

Radical Classical is currently a proud artist for Fender Musical Instruments as well as being an artist for Fender’s “Girl Rock Nation” initiative; encouraging young girls and women to play music. She is graciously endorsed as well by other world class companies such as Sennheiser, La Bella Strings, Fishman Pickups, Strum-N-Comfort crossover picks.

Her talent has landed her a spot on the preliminary ballot for a Grammy Nomination.
