Joe Orlando began his musical career at age 10 when he first picked up a guitar. He has been performing in ever since.

He went on to learn how to play the piano, bass and has been the lead vocalist in all of his bands since then.

Joe is also an owner at The Monmouth Academy of Musical Arts. In addition to his administrative and teaching duties, he is a full-time working musician, having performed and continues to perform and tour with such legends as: Denny Laine from Paul McCartney’s Wings and The Moody Blues, Laurence Juber, one of the world’s foremost fingerstylists and also from Paul McCartney’s Wings, Billy J. Kramer, who had seven number one hits and was a leader in The British Invasion of the ’60s, Joey Molland from Badfinger, who scored several huge hits including Paul McCartney’s “Come and Get it” and “No Matter What”, Ian Mitchell of The Bay City Rollers, who sold over 70 million records, Pete Best, the original drummer of The Beatles, Connie Francis, Herman’s Hermits, The Coasters, The Drifters, The Tokens, Bobby Lewis and many more.

Joe and his band, The Cryers, are much in demand as a backing band for these major and historic artists.

Along with his long-time partner, Belle Liao, Joe has produced and promoted musical events and tours.

The realization of a dream came to pass when The Academy opened its doors on January 2nd, 2006. Joe and Belle, along with their partners, have created a place where music is king.
