Nominee at the 10th annual LA Music Awards

Award winning music supervisor, John C. King, began in the field of music supervision on Joss Whedon’s critically acclaimed television series, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, creating a cult following and an enthusiastic musical fan base. He was the Soundtrack Producer for the release of the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Radio Sunnydale” television soundtrack, and has since supervised the music on other popular shows including “Ghost Whisperer”, “Angel”, ”Blade: The Series”, “Miracles”, and more.

John received the Los Angeles Music Award for Most Outstanding Music Supervisor and has participated as a panelist speaker as well as a contributor to many interviews, DVDs, and books on the subject of music supervision and its role in film & television.

A musician, music producer, and composer, John infrequently performs in and around the Los Angeles area. He’s a Libra, and strongly dislikes referring to himself in the third person.
