Song: “Song of a preacher man” Artist: Collide

I’ve been passionate about filmmaking from a very early age.  From the first moment I laid eyes on my parents’ Super 8 camera, I wanted to do little else but create images.  And although I was absolutely forbidden from so much as touching that camera, (“It’s not a toy,” my mother constantly reminded me,) it wasn’t long before I’d sneaked it out of her closet, assembled a neighborhood cast and crew, and was off to make the next great cinematic epic!

Only there was one little problem: I didn’t have any film.  Undeterred–and somehow neglecting to mention this to my faithful cast and crew–we “shot” for an entire weekend!  Turns out that this film was still captured… but only in my imagination!  And it’s still there, playing non-stop, like an ever-evolving celluloid loop.

And, by the way, for the first and only time, Mom was actually wrong: cameras are toys. The best toys ever!

If you happen to share this borderline OCD sort of passion, drop me an email. I’d love to hear from you!
