LACE BENTLEY Recipient FOR BEST INTL. ARTIST BY THE LA MUSIC AWARDS
The 20th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards was held at the historic Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California on November 18, 2010.
Lace Bentley was born in a small town called Marvley in Kingston, Jamaica. Lace began singing in church and school choirs. Lace lead her high school choir to the nationals singing “It Don’t Mean A Thing” by Ella Fitzgerald. Lace won many talent shows as a teenager while attending school in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Lace wrote and composed her first hit song “Crush Dem,” which is very popular on satellite radio. Among her many talents Lace won the pageant title Miss Black Pennsylvania USA, Raised over $50,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network, Guest Starred on ABC’s Castle, Starred on ABC’s I Survived a Japanese Game Show, was honored with Best Live Concert Performance by R. K. Records and is now ranked top ten in the California world/Reggae market.
