2011 Nominee – Music Video of the Year – 21st Annual LA Music Awards “Dressed in Black”
LNE is a pop rock band based in Los Angeles, Ca. Lead vocalist and songwriter, Eleni, mixes her power driven lungs with ambient electric guitar played by Brandon Hillery, melodic and distorted bass from Kurt Blankenship, heavy hitting drums with Nate Carter and dark, buzz saw synths to take this pop sound over the edge. It all started with Vod.The band was formed at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. Early on they played two major summer festivals: Epicenter 2010 and Sunset Music Fest 2011 at the MI stages. During, LNE also won Coast to Coast’s Battle of the Bands 2010 which marked the start of their Bi-Coastal College Radio tour. This lead to their first showcase at the NACA Mid Atlantic Conference 2012 in Lancaster, PA. Eleni and Brandon represented the band as an acoustic duo. The full band is scheduled to return to the East Coast for a tour in March-April 2013.

LNE recorded the first full length album, Strickly Vod, at The Pie Studios with Producer/Academy Award winning Engineer, Nels Jensen. After the Summer 2011 independent release of the album, their music video for the single, Dressed In Black, was featured on FUSE on DEMAND Cable TV as well as nominated for Best Music Video at the 21st Annual Los Angeles Music Awards.

With a second album in the works, LNE is back at The Pie with Nels Jensen perfecting the combination of digital and organic while adding in new toys like Maschine to the live show. The inspirational drink of choice has not yet been chosen for the writing process. However, during Eleni and Brandon’s trip to PA, they met Matt Citrone A.K.A “Patron” during their filming at Lancaster Rocks (Millersville University) who suggested they take inspiration from his name.
