Manda Mosher is an acclaimed singer/songwriter, recording, and touring artist within the rock style hailing from Los Angeles.
As a 6th generation Los Angeleno, she has a complicated relationship with the city. After fronting bands as a teenager in the LA club scene, she went to Berklee College Of Music in Boston to hone the craft of her songwriting. Upon returning to LA after college, she took music business positions working at Zomba Music and The Recording Academy while continuing writing and performing locally.EverythingYouNeed-CDcover
In 2005, Manda won Female Singer/Songwriter Of The Year for the Los Angeles Music Awards. She began working with producer Guy Erez and recorded her first full-length album Everything You Need which garnered a recording deal with New York based indie Red Parlor Records and a publishing deal with Red Parlor and Bug Music. Red Parlor released Everything You Need in the US, Canada, Japan, and additional international territories in April of 2009. Following the release, Manda appeared on Craig Ferguson’s Late Late Show performing the first single “Lay Me Down.” CityOfClowns-CDcover
Everything You Need was followed by a second release in August of 2010 on Red Parlor entitled City Of Clowns; an EP endeavor which Manda toured extensively behind in 2010. Radio took a serious interest in spinning the single “City Of Clowns” and her cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “State Trooper.” At the end of 2010, the Los Angeles Music Awards awarded her with National Touring Artist of The Year.

In November 2011, Manda will release a single entitled “You Belong With Me;” a ukulele tune inspired by her Hawaiian travels earlier this year. “You Belong With Me” will be featured in the Emmy winner, Venice The Series in November. In addition, the single “One Of These Days” is slated for release on the David Lynch Foundation Music label next year, which was produced by Grammy winner, Gavin Lurssen.
