From 2004 until present Ms. DVA Thee Musical Poet participated, appeared and/or performed in numerous Church/Outreach programs, Community Events, School Programs, TV/ Radio, Showcases, Concerts, Awards Ceremonies and Poetry Slams in California, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, New York , Illinois, Kentucky, Georgia, Las Vegas, Freeport Bahamas. (Performances and Special Appearances at The Holly wood Celebrity Centre, Long Beach Festival, Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, Youth Entrepreneur Leadership Conference at the Home Depo Center all in California; BET’s Sunday’s Best in Washington DC; In The Spirit at the Clarion Hotel & Casino’s Wolf Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada.)
Ms. DVA’s “DVA Enterprises” (Record Label & Licensed AMF Booking Agent -NY) on October 15, 2012 signed an agreement for an Album Recording Affiliation with Krush Records http://www.krushmusic.net and Genesis Entertainment Enterprises, LLC in NY and their Affiliation Partnership Distribution Companies Rainy Songs Entertainment, LLC in the US, and Denmark Music Group in the UK for Worldwide Digital Distribution.
Ms DVA (http://www.msdvamusic.net), and her Multi-Platinum music producer Barry Fasman (http://www.barryfasman.com) have a Community project of Educational Enhancement songs, “The ABC Rap Of Self Esteem” and “The Bull. Sponsorship provided by Ms DVA’s “Whole Man Enterprises (501C3) Organization. Note: several of Barry Fasmans’ accreditations are “1982 Record Producer of the Year “ Great Britain, 32 songs on NBC TV’s Original “Fame”, Theme Song for NBC’s “It’s Showtime At The Apollo”. Note: The Bully Music was produced by National Hip Hop Artist Chubb Rock).
The “Ms. DVA Doll”, which is being designed by Nijel (former bodyguard & sculptor for Michael Jackson) for future worldwide 2013 distribution TBA. The Ms. DVA Doll (designed to the exact likeness of Ms. DVA) is a fashionable sophistication doll to be manufactured for all Ethnic Groups. (other a.k.a’s: “D.V.A.”, “Ms DVA”, “Ms DVA Musical Poet”, “D.V.A Musical Poet”, “DVA Musical Poet”, “Ms DVA Thee Musical Poet” and “Ms DVA With A Purpose”).
On December 6, 2012 the Carson California Black Chamber of Commerce (President Sadie Kimbrew) honored Ms. DVA Thee Musical Poet with the “Community Entertainer of the Year” and Barry “Foz” Fasman with the “Unforgettable Celebrity in Music” Awards.
On June 21st, July 26th , and August 16th 2012 Ms. DVA ‘With A Purpose” Community Showcases were held at the South Bay Pavilion (Carson Mall), 20700 Avalon Avenue in Carson California.
