Bio
The Siren Folk Metal Outfit, Pink Sabbath, entertains with their signature dulcet originals and painstakingly-chosen covers. You’ll hear Brill Building-esque vocal harmonies to the accompaniment of violin, guitar, & accordion with the occasional rock-solid rhythm section thrown in when people just gotta’ move.

Coupling mild irreverence with unapologetic sentimentality, no Pink Sabbath gig would be complete without equally respectful nods to The Ronettes, The Fairport Convention, The Band, Big Star, Patti Smith and Emmylou Harris. It lulls, it rocks, and best of all, it’s all part of your folk and roll fantasy.

For those about to Folk, we salute you.

Pink Sabbath discography Bon Jovi meets the Andrews Sisters – a little bit kitsch cabaret and a lot of dulcet sound. Coupling mild irreverence with unapologetic sentimentality, Pink Sabbath, the four-gal/three-part harmony band entertains with cleverly crafted original songs along with some heavy metal favorites: playing on an eclectic mix of accordion, violin, guitar and bass. Though they’ve been known to bring on the occasional self combusting drummer, dwarves, and miniature Stone Henge replica props, the core of Pink Sabbath is: Pink Drake (Sharron Drake on violin and vocals) Lady Pinkwick (Diana Lerwick on accordion, flute and vocals) and Pinky Pfeiff-a-dero (Adrienne Pfeiffer on guitar and vocals) and the ever properly pouting Magenta (Cindy Guiliani, on a cheap ass electric bass). Lady Pinkwick keeps things interesting by occasionally breaking out the flute during the group’s Lynyrd Skynyrd covers. Pink Drake and Pinky Pfeiff-a-dero met several years ago while performing in the cast of the West Coast premier of the Tony winning musical, Cowgirls. Diana soon followed – becoming their alto vocalist and accordion player, and Magenta is still wondering what happened earlier this summer on the corner of 23rd and Valencia when Pinky first dragged her into their strange sphere. All four are residents of West Marin County in Northern California. Pink Sabbath: It’s all part of your folk and roll fantasy. For Those about to Folk, we salute you.
