2012 Nominee – The Mark Vigil Male Singer/Songwriter of the Year – 22nd Annual LA Music Awards
2013 Nominee – Hot AC Artist of the Year – 23rd Annual LA Music Awards
Randy Gibson, the Americana rocker from Redding, CA, got his start in 1980 when he began playing music as an outlet for anger and frustration. The emotionally powerful product is the result of the energy Randy pours into each and every song. Having bought some music equipment, Randy started his first band, “Blue Sage” and since then has made a name for himself as an edgy and uninhibited solo artist.
In the early nineties, Randy teamed up with Tracy Longstreth who produced his first record Krysis “Bad Man” in 1993. In 2007, Randy hooked up with the great writer/producer/performer Ronnie King (Tupac Shakur, The Offspring, Mariah Carey, Snoop Dogg, Blink 182, DI, Pepper, etc) to produce his second album Randy Gibson “Unhinged,” his most provocative work to date.
Randy has performed live throughout California and Oregon, garnering radio play and a quarter page review in No Cover Magazine and a full page review in the Pasadena Star with band SoulSpeak. He also made the semi-finalists in the KTLA Channel 5 Battle of the Bands Video Contest with his video Wonderful, which you can see on YouTube.com by searching Randy Gibson. His music reflects his desire to express genuine emotion from outside the box. According to Ronnie King, “He [Randy] is the truck driving, hard working, pushy, artistic guy next door. He writes about the way he feels. All I had to do was get him to kill all of his demons and explore the studio space and we started getting something.”
For Randy, music is a medium in which he can “stick the proverbial finger into the face of our system.” He would like to be recognized for his ability to write a song on the spot. He says he can have a strong idea for a song within an hour.
Randy has just recently opened up his own recording studio, named Red Room Studio Productions, and aspires to help other struggling artists succeed. For more information, check him out on

A New Poem
What if God is out there scurrying around trying to get it right just like the rest of us?
I know that God is the universe and the universe is God.
Such beauty so stipulated, growing free, incorrigible!
I am the universe I am God and we want what we want!
Seeing its the hard part. The hard part? Were the hard part!
So close your eyes you grown up child and see the things your soul has seen.
Take the time to realize we stand in front of us!
My God is me and me my God and you are yours and mine.
My deepest thoughts and sympathies to each our hearts divine.
The universe is many things or all things I suspect.
