Rosa’s Bella Cucina
Rosa’s Bella Cucina is generation 2.0 of DePalma Brothers, the Italian delicatessen and caterer that has acted as a hub for the Italian community in northern New Jersey for over thirty years. The Graziano family, natives of Naples, Italy, are known not only for their divine specialty imported foods, but also for imparting an atmosphere of authentic old world Italy. Their daughter Rosa, with their blessing, is now sharing this same old world Italian tradition with the Los Angeles community with Rosa’s Bella Cucina, an Italian Kitchen & Delicatessen on Wheels!
For the last 11 years, Rosa’s Zeppole booth has been one of the most popular booths at the Feast of San Gennaro Hollywood, getting high praise from fellow Italian-Americans like Jimmy Kimmel and Ray Romano. It’s also been featured on news and TV programs such as Hallmark Ch. Home & Family, Cooking Ch.’s EAT ST., EAT ST. Cookbook, VH1‘s Morning Show, 97.1 amp radio with Carson Daly, KTLA-Morning news w/Allie MacKay, Good Day LA-FOX, foodnetwork.com, Every Day with Rachael Ray magazine, Epic Meal Time: Epic Chef, and recently featured in web series on YouTube’s Hungry Ch. “Rosa & Rico On a Roll…”
Through Rosa’s active involvement with Los Angeles Italian organizations like The Sons of Italy Hollywood Lodge, UNICO and the National Italian American Foundation, Rosa has been a mainstay and fan favorite among feast and event-goers. Responding to many requests from this community, Rosa’s excited to bring her Italian culture and her passed-down old world recipes to Los Angeles by launching Rosa’s Bella Cucina. Taking the lead from her family business, but turning it up a notch, Rosa’s Bella Cucina brings the Italian food you know and love to L.A. A little sample of what’s on the menu: meat-filled and vegetarian arancini (savory Italian rice balls), Italian sandwiches filled with the best imported ingredients like prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, marinated artichokes and roasted peppers, and hot and cold specialty items like eggplant parmigiana and pesto pasta salad.
