Ryan Calhoun is a young, up-and-coming pop/rock singer born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He says he isn’t interested in changing the world or being the next big indie sensation, he just writes songs. His songs are based on life experiences, from relationships to fears and struggles, and that is a huge part of why they are so relatable. His biggest inspirations include The Foo Fighters, Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton, and strains of each can be heard in his music.

Though both he and his career are rather young, he already has several impressive accomplishments under his belt. He has been nominated and won an LA Music Award for Best Male Pop Vocal. He has charted on iTunes in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Australia, and his album “Everything I’m Not” has reached #3 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart. He has had 5 songs reach the top 10 on that chart as well, and his song “Who We Are” even hit #1.

He has garnered much attention from his appearances on the iTunes New and Noteworthy page, as well as the front page of Amazon.com. He has also achieved much recognition thanks to the use of his songs on multiple popular television shows. These shows include: One Tree Hill, Make It or Break It, Real World, MTV’s True Life, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Men of a Certain Age, and So You Think You Can Dance, among others.
