Background
Summary
Extensive knowledge of and experience in structuring and negotiating deals in all facets of music business. Understanding of the fundamental concerns and conflicts in the transition from the Record business to the New Media business and from the tangible to intangible music business and delivery models. I have an extensive 30 year history in the music business, having both worked and been partner at top firms in the country as well as run my own practice for the past dozen years, and have the benefit of understanding new models and issues from both sides of the equation. In addition to having extensive knoweldge and ability to negotiate and craft deals in every facet of the traditional music business, whether it be publishing, recording, merchandising, licensing, touring, etc., I am a creative thinker, with strong negotiation and advocacy skills that can help to formulate solutions, propose business models and bridge the gaps between old and new models to the mutual benefit of all parties.
