The success of SoundCheck International dates back to 1985, when founder, Buck Judkins started a booking agency in Fort Worth, Texas, called “Golden Productions”. The agency back then was primarily a concert promotion company which brought many national touring acts to Texas and surrounding states.

Judkins’ reputation grew quickly due to his integrity, and his honest approach to business. Bands and promoters trusted him. His knowledge of the music business was obvious with the people he dealt with.
Soon, due to his successful concerts, many of the local and regional bands acquired his services to help them develop their talents. Golden Productions became the #1 Agency for booking talent and artist development. Judkins’ knowledge of the music business, dealing with record labels, promoters, club owners, bands, advertising agencies, and marketing companies grew and grew. He was in high demand in making things work in the music business for artists in the mainstream media.
Now years later, and many great learning experiences in the music industry, Buck Judkins created a new company primarily in the business for Talent Development, SoundCheck International.
