If you choose to avail of our services, or to become a Participant and pay a fee for Voting or for Contestant Registration, Enrollment, or Submission under the TERMS OF USE you may need to give personal information and authorization to obtain information from various credit services. - Credit card number, Expiry and Codes.

- Credit card billing address
- Business and home phone number

Votes
If you sign up and pay to VOTE for your favorite Contestant(s) we use a third party voting tallying processor to tally, count and calculate winners for all of our Contestant Categories.
Votes are tallied by a Third Party vote processor.

NOTE that if you signed up to Vote or as a Contestant, Fan or Sponsor, if you opt out, you will become disqualified to remain a Voter or Contestant in any Category because we need to send you various notifications and information about the status of your input and confirm your participation and Votes.
Surveys & Contests
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.
A Special Note About Children
Children are not eligible to use our services unsupervised and we ask that children (under the age of 14) do not submit any personal information to us. After subscribing to our email list, or signing up as a Voter or in any Contestant Category, we will send you exclusive offers, promotions, show dates, informational emails, and more, that you will only see by being a LAIMA – Los Angeles Music Awards Email Subscriber.
We also send notifications, instructions, rules, and information to you if you signed up as a Voter or any category of Contestant.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If/when changes are made to this privacy policy, we will email users who have given us permission to do so.
